Overview
Gupt khal trek expedition is one of the most challenging and demanding high altitude pass trek in the Garhwal Himalayas. Which is connecting Niti valley to Mana valley in Nanda Devi Biospheres . This high altitude pass 5850m / 19,192 ft, Which is also called hidden call pass. This pass connects many mountains. Which is Kamet (7,756m) , Mana (7,274m) , Mandir(6,559m) , unnamed peak (7,000m) and Nilgiri parwat ( 6,474m) .It is surrounded by these mountains due to which it is called Hidden col . It is not visible from a distance from any place. the Gupt khal pass trek is meant only for experienced trekkers and mountaineers who have previous trekking experience and knowledge. Also need very good physical and mental endurance. The trail takes you through massive glaciers, crevasse snowfields, rocky moraines .

Short itinerary
Rishikesh to Joshimath by vehicle 250 km (reaching Joshimath)
Trek start from Joshimath
Day 1:- Joshimath to Gamshali village by a vehicle 80 km village camp side. (3,000m )
(Gamshali village located in Niti Valley Which is about 80 kilometers from Joshimath. )
Day 2:- Gamshali village to Dhamarsen (3,300 m) 4 km
Day 3:- Dhamarsen to Adi Udiyar (3,600m) 5 km
Crossing Rataban Glacier ( moraine section)
Day 4:- Adi Udiyar to Ban kund lake ( (4,000m) 4-5 km
Crossing highly dangerous rockfall zones
Day 5:- Ban kund to Ban kund band ( 4,600m ) 5-6km
Day 6:- Ban kund band to Gar camp (5,200m) 5km ( moraine section with haggling glacier top of Nilgiri parwat )
Day 7:- Gar camp to Gupt khal ice field base camp ( 5,500m) 5km
Day 8:- Gupt khal ice field by summit (5,850m) 4km to lower Nakhathani glacier camp (5,200m) 3km
Day 9:- Nakhathani glacier to Shepherd camp (4,000m) 7km
Day 10:- Trek from Shepherd camp / musa pani to Mana village ( 3,200m ) 14km
Over night stay in Mana than
Day 12:- Mana to Joshimath
02 Day Buffer day (rest day)
